Seaweed Baths

Seaweed is packed full of magnesium and other minerals. When you put seaweed into your bath you can absorb these minerals through your skin. Magnesium has a variety of health benefits, including detoxification, relieving stress and reducing muscle tension. Many people are deficient in Magnesium, so a seaweed detox bath is a relaxing way of removing toxins, while replenishing minerals. I love to bring a couple of pieces home with me when I visit the beach, I simply give them a rinse, and then pop them into a hot bath. Have a nice glass of water ready to drink, slide on in and sweat out those toxins. The water feels silky smooth, and you it smells like you are at the beach. Best of all, after a seaweed bath, I like to remove the seaweed and place it around the base of my favorite tree or into my compost, this fills the soil with minerals and feeds the plant. (seaweed emulsion).
