What is a Naturopath

A naturopath treats a person as a whole. We look at mind, body, and spirit, and treat the root cause behind disease, not just the symptoms alone. By asking questions about your health, lifestyle, and diet, I am able to create a holistic picture of what is causing your disease and then we create a treatment plan that will improve your health, reduce symptoms, and improve vitality.

I will also take some vital signs like blood pressure, pulse and undertake some more holistic assessments including checking the nails, and tongue for any signs of possible nutrient deficiencies. Lastly, I look at your Iris with an iridology torch, which may indicate specific body systems, that may need to be nurtured.

At the end of the appointment we will discuss ways to help you achieve your health goals, depending on your budget and needs. Some people may require additional nutritional support with dietary advice or supplements, and some people might need herbal liquids or herbal tea which provide additional support to the body systems. I also use homeopathy, and flower essences.
